At least that's one spill the Americans aren't complaining about.

That Farrow bloke you executed today, are you sure he's dead?
Well I chopped his head off, that usually does the trick.
Yes, don't get clever with me Baldrick. I just thought you might have lopped off a leg or something by mistake.
No, the thing I chopped off had a nose.

The English are playing pretty rough - if they continue like this I see a red card coming soon!

Maybe not great, but certainly very entertaining - and right now the English team was very lucky.

Strange bloodless performance from England (minus Rooney, who fought to the end as always).

After the draw of France yesterday (which had a same bloodless performance), the second disappointment from one of the favourites.

What is really getting on my nerves are these horns though, I`d rather hear chants, rhythms, etc from the stadiums than this constant humming.

Pretty disappointed with England. Rooney laboured a lot but overall the English team's performance was just not enough. The US team IMO held up pretty well, I appreciate that they didn't go totally defensive after the 1:1.

Not a great game by all means, but still fun to watch.

yep

Well, it didn't go our way, but a draw is ok at this stage.

Fun game to watch. Yeah..that guy Rooney looks like he'd beat you up, steal your car, shag your Mom, then claim the booze made him do it.. wink UK got lucky with that off-the crossbar shot by the US.. But right after that for the next 10 minutes it seemed UK had a few good looks at the US goal for sure.

One thing - what the hell is the constant buzz in the background coming from the crowd? Did they pass out kazoos to the whole stadium or something? Annoying as all hell..sounded like a swarm of bees was filling the stadium. biggrin

Edit..just read the rest of the thread..bee explanation noted.. biggrin

These bloody Vuvuzelas really get on my nerves now. It sounds like a swarm of bees and that constantly over 90+ minutes definitely sucks!

I watched the second half, it was entertaining enough. I dislike ties though, its like kissing your sister.
