What has happened to the yankeeairpirate.net website. I just get ads instead of the usual website. Is the server down or is the website being revamped?

In Mauritius, we are once again taught how to live life: to take one's time, to socialize and mix up with different people, to taste unknown flavours, to admire nature and to appreciate the first light of dawn...

Still not working for me as at Sunday May 30 at 1235UTC (1635 my local time. Getting page full of ads/links as if the site has been discontinued. I guess that if the website had been taken down it now needs to be replicated on servers over the WWW and that usually takes about 48hrs or more. Will check again on Monday.

All ok now, got the website late on Sunday, it's working fine, just a matter of replication across the web. I'm far away from the U.S. wave

We are moving, so as of 22:44 Eastern time, June 16, 2010, the site will up and down over the next few days.

It's back up now at the original server. That attempt failed so we are shopping for another new server who can handle the huge storage, bandwidth and Flash gimmicks.

As of 12:08PM Eastern time, 071310, due to more technical problems with the outfit that was redoing the site, the mission briefings are currently not available. We are attempting to work out a temporary solution. Thank You for your patience.

A complete set of mission briefings is being activated in the Member's Area (not ready yet) and I will email everyone to let them know. We will also prepare a complete set of Google Earth files of the actual target position. It's a small sized file so it might just go via email.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We need to change the Yankee Air Pirate website to reflect how it is really used (a catalog and a point of sale) and incorporate Rising Sun. No need fixing it up just to go right back and change it.

In the Member's Area, there is a hyperlink to the Briefings...all of them. And, of course, he misspelled Briefings.

Nothing goes smoothly it seems.

Anyway, it is an installer that will create or add to a Briefings folder in your Wings Over Vietnam folder.
