Sea Harrier ski jump carrier take off Uploaded a new video showing the Sea Harrier FRS.1 using the deck ramp or ski jump in the bow of the HMS Hermes Royal Navy carrier. Also showing some mission specific details, such as wingman formation flight, and flight being vectored to intercept contacts by a destroyer on station (in this case, HMS Glasgow).
Featuring also gameplay helpers, such as the arrow guiding to the next waypoint (which can be switched off in the realism options menu). I was surprised that they have a new vid.

Nice to see the SHar in a video. I take it that the small 'object pictures' on the left are clues as to who is talking to you on the radio? One small detail though, the pilot picture (a placeholder?), although nicely done, is not British. If you'd like pictures of a UK pilot from the same angle wearing the appropriate 1982 helmet/mask combo then drop me a PM. Sorry, bit spotterish to notice that Well spotted HarryR. Indeed that's a placeholder, at the moment it's the same picture for British and Argentine pilot, for example. It's meant to draw attention to the comms text and as a cue as you said, in the final release it should be a 3D model with proper animation and voice acting so it'll look professional - it could be switched off in the realism menu if it is making the sim looks too arcadey.

Great to see the progress Dante.
My thoughts on the comms pictures is that they are too big, but hey, it's still early days for items like that (not on the high priority list).
You sticking to PC? The icons look similar to console type interfaces?

You sticking to PC? The icons look similar to console type interfaces? Rest assured, that the final product will be a sim. In talks with publishers, it's only worth for them to publish the sim as a full price product, if it has the scope to please both newcomers to the sim genre as well as veterans and seasoned simmers. In other words, it must has scalability: able to configure it to play as a console light sim (AC), or on the opposite, as a DCS FC type full PC sim. Although this is a very hard thing to do and in the end it's nearly as tough as developing 2 different products at the same time.

That looks great. It really gives you the feeling of moving at a high rate of speed in a jet... strangely absent among many other sims.
