Just read from IW that they were originally planning on having a double XP weekend with the launch of the map pack but they decided to do it early. Not only was it fairly expensive but it was broken for the first few hours. The game update that M$ releases with each thing wouldn't let anyone online for MW2, whether or not they bought the stimulus pack. Even after they fixed it my buddies and I still couldn't get into a game together, and then once we could it kept putting us in with people multiple prestiges ahead of us (as in everyone but us was way ahead) and we were getting slaughtered.

I'll get it and play it... but frankly i wish we ALL (all gamers) would agree NOT to buy it till Activision dropped the price to 10 bucks... Stimulus Package is a slap in the face.
F Activision, and all those suits.

Looks like they fixed most of the matchmaking stuff and they are mixing the expansion maps and double XP into the normal playlists today. No more Search and Destroy every other round.

Bought it yesterday but haven't played it yet. Been vacuuming up water in my basement since noon-ish yesterday! All this rain sucks! First time I ever had water in my basement.
It's drying up nicely now, though. Should get a chance to play soon.

Gotta agree with Dude here on that one. I don't mean to troll up your thread here, but honestly, I got tired of watching guys running like crazy an knifing people. I would get so pissed that I put it down. The whole commando plus infinite running makes it feel like Halo or some crap. I'll probably get back into the game once I get sick of being sniped over and over again in BFBC2 though.
OVER....Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

I bought them but I've been so hooked on BFBC2 that I've only played the new maps very briefly.
One thing that disappoints me so far is that it seems like every match that uses the new maps are either Domination or Demolition or HQ or something. I mostly hate those game types ('cept I don't mind Domination too much). I prefer straight up Team Deathmatch but I haven't been able to play a simple TDM match on any of the new maps yet.

They worked them into the normal rotation for TDM and Domination the second day they were out. On normal playlists I actually found most of my matches on the newer maps. I am liking Storm more and more, but I really like the apartment complex map the most although I can't recall the name of it off the top of my head.
