Thx... now someone wake me up (with a new thread titled "English version released", lol) when it's released... not going to buy the Russian version 2 days before the release of the English version, like I did with Blackshark. wink

That's because UBI don't have the rights to the Russian version of Lock ON. This meant ED could do a standalone version for Russia. Ed wants to do a combined standalone version for international release, but it depends on UBI not being ******s as usual.

Not yet. The final version went into testing yesterday and a few optimists are hoping that it'll see a release today or over the weekend. Personally, I think early next week is more realistic.

Still... it's close... smile

On the ED forums the devs are still working to get the English files up.

That bit of news Kramer posted should keep a lot of people happy. Given all the mods and content for LOMAC and FC 1.0.

I've got a bad feeling about this.....

Anyone know how to log in to any of the FTP sites on the download page? I've been trying the HTML links, but traffic is so heavy that the download time for part 1 is over 90 hours!

Use the torrent, the more people that do the quicker it'll go. I'm getting 200~300 kB/s.

If you've never used a torrent app before I recommend Utorrent. Free and easy to set up, the newer versions can even open ports on your router using UPNP I believe.

Currently dl'ing all three files from the russian HTTP server, plus getting the torrent so I can assist a bit with that.
