Yeahh! We're in buiseness, baby! Man, I started reading "A-10s over Kosovo" in the hope of finishing it and jumping right into the game and it worked! Now I can install LOMAC + FC without having that pesky Starforce version in my system. All good news.

Cheers!

Quick question. Is this the Lock On 2 I heard someone talk about or is that still something completely different down the road?

I don't want to rain on your parade or anything, but they are using a form of Starforce ProActive protection.

No rain. This version of Starforce is less agressive to your system, if you happen to have more than one optical drive. That version was a real relationship-killer, if you ask me. :-)

Q. now is this a patch to go over all the installs... or can you just buy an all in one package/install... I have old versions of Lock On, FC, and BS... but nothing installed now.

Thx

I 'think' it goes on top a fresh install of Flaming Cliffs.

Of course FC 2.0 is released. My copy of Flaming Cliffs arrived in the mail yesterday.

I'm definitely excited over the upgrade and I can't wait to play online!

Thx...

Just verifying, since I don't really follow these forums... isn't this update suppose to allow blackshark to be played/flown in the same world as lock on?

Yeah it will allow the two sims to merge. Additionally FC2 will have Black Sharks mission editor and map and many other similarities. It's like FC revamped using the DCS engine in a way................

If I buy FC2, would I need a LOMAC DVD too? I had one but lost it frown
