Some of you were asking about window mode last MM

This would be my Target line in a Shortcut if I used 1, I use a launcher and I recommend you do too, there are a few at Armaholic.

G:\Bohemia Interactive\arma2.exe -nosplash -connect=64.50.169.150 -password=XXXXXX -window -world=empty -mod=@CBA;@islands;@misc;@CSM2

This will connect me straight to the server, no intro and no map loaded for speed.

You may have to go to your ArmA2 cfg file to change the size of the window to match your monitor I have mine set at 1680 X 1050.
This leaves my task bar so when I die at the start of a mission I can browse the net while the game runs merrily without me. No alt/tab so no fear of crashing or lockups.

Yep I PMed these to Panzermeyer a few days back. Worth noting, that you can use -nosplash -window and -world=empty together as Dec demonstrates, or individually as you wish.

Like Dec, I use all three to cut my startup times.
