Hi Lead Pursuit folks,
I think it is time to update your news on your Web site. The last news is kind of out of date a bit!
Happy 2009!
Its amazing how time flies when you're hard at work.
Happy New Year!
JTL Don't hold your breath. I think it is time for all of us to start planning our transition to A-10C. Looks very promising.

Hmmm. At work? Where? At the fishmarket?
If they are working on a sim, there would have been some kind of proof, right.
I to hope that we will all be suprised one day, but I don't belive it will happen until I've seen it!
Happy new year by the way. Fishmarket is 3 blocks down the road ,working on this sim same place last 10 yrs . Happy new year to you !

Fishmarket is 3 blocks down the road
So it's a short commute
No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

Happy new year by the way. What kind of proof do you want to hear? It's a small team of developers and each of them has a real job and private life. If they would announce any details, you would probably be the first one who begins to ask questions or breathes one wish after another. Leading such discussions needs man power and delays the release. Sometimes it's better to concentrate on the goals you set yourself instead of trying to be everybody's darling. Anyway, less people will be disappointed at the end. ;-) Casio p.s.: Ed_1 already mentioned that he's working at this sim for TEN years now (Take account of the SuperPAK period)!

Creative Assembly took the other approach, they tried to please their community, got heavily involved in endless discussions with whining teenagers on their forums, prepared podcasts, etc., which derailed their development plans and consumed precious development time, resulting in an unfinished and flawed Empire: Total War release, a game that was eagerly awaited by the community and which disappointed most customers. Better to concentrate on development, though still, I would much appreciate a kind of "one way communication" with the community, whereby LP would release some screenshots and status reports on a strictly FYI basis.

I'll admit FigheterOps got my money once. (sucker born every minute right...) I am just excited about the prospect of an upcoming release as F4:Allied Force is so close to perfect for me yet growing older ever day.
I, for one just want to know there is still some hope. As, Lead Pursuit kept the patches (support) coming and really did put out a magnificent product. I realize that there are some other sims on the horizon, but without a dynamic campaign they feel so empty to me. For instance - DCS:BlackShark is really fun. The flying is fun... but once you master the systems and flight its over. Nothing more than endless shooting from stand off distance. Not detracting from what they did/are doing/will do but what makes F4 so "alive" is the immersion factor for me.
I want to hear some news from LP just to know its still alive. I'll be pleased to wait as long as needed as I am confident they will knock it out of the park when they finally release the product .
AMD 965BE, MSI790FX-GD70, 8GB GSKILL DDR3, 8800GTS, 850PCPower&Cooling PSU, CoolerMaster Cosmos Case,Win7,CH Products FSPPPT, TrackIR4, Wacom Tablet and a couple of NikonD300's for recon flights... www.raf74.com

You mean like FighterOps? No, if the project cannot be finished due to any reason, no one has to apologize anything.
Casio Not really, they are taking a wrong approach IMHO, they waste a lot of time on that Area 51 **llshit and charge their community for nothing. I think a good example would be DCS, who give a progress report from time to time and a few screenshots for cockpit builders.
