Hello,

I received the above reference "bug fix" file from Mr.Z. However, it does not open as a standard RAR or copy material to existing files. Upon opening under NoteBook format, it was found to be a mission config file. Where can it be placed to correct the noted mission error.

Please advise,

As I have no answers to my question, but some readership, I thought of continuing to talk to myself...

I received by email from Mr. Z on 12 December the above mentioned correction file. Small, it easily unpacked a folder containing a .RAR file which could be opened via Notepad. It proved to be a mission config.sys file that I understands relates to another problem raised by a YAP player.

So I fervently remain wondering: How does this small corrective file install? If it requires a manual installation, into to what folder is it to be placed as an over write?

Did you unpack it from the RAR file? If so, just drop it into your WOV>Missions folder.

Thank you for the response. The problem was not with the unzip or unpacking of the download. It was the naming of the result: "65122 cleanup". At other times if I dumped a new file copy into a folder hoping for the best, I have found destruction (CFS3 MODs). So I just pasted "cleanup" into the mission folder and over wrote a November install with a December install. I was just unclear as to what to paste from a download named "cleanup" and in what folder to paste it. Thread discussions separately indicated a problem with an A6 which was deemed minor. Yet I did not want to intiate another one of my own problems due to a "simple matter of software".
