Randy Quaid as the relative you don't talk about is hilarious.

I'm about 10 minutes into the movie and ready to pee my pants from laughing!

The last one I saw was National Lampoon's European Vacation. That one is also funny.

I was in Wal-Mart the other day and saw a DVD of a "Vacation" movie I had never heard of. It was called National Lampoon's "Christmas Vacation II" with Randy Quaid as Cousin Eddie in the lead. The picture on the case had the same actress that played his wife in the other movies, but I didn't recognize anybody else. It must have been one of those sequels that went straight to video.

If I spot a copy in the bargain bin, I might give it a shot.

Cheers

OMG - Christmas Vacation is one of those movies I just can't flip past when I'm cruising through the channels. I don't care where in the movie it I happen to break in..but I can't flip past it. LOL..last night I saw it on TV and it was at the part where Randy Quaid is buying the Ol' Roy dog food at Wal-Mart..lol.. What is hilarious about that scene is that his pants are so tight that you can see the outline of his sausage and it cracks me up every time.

Awesome movie! thumbsup One of the redeeming things about Christmas... biggrin

Got to love this movie, watched it 3 times this past week already. What is it with AMC stuck on the repeat button. popcorn

My favorite part of the movie is when he gets all his Christmas lights hooked up. Can`t figure out why they won`t work. thumbsup

While stationed in Germany, my section chief & I were assigned the task of running the young kids' movies during the battalion Christmas party. He was a little on the naive side, and so didn't realize I was being facetious when I said "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" when he asked for movie recommendations. The mortified look on his face when Clark was standing at the kitchen window and daydreaming about having a pool was priceless LOL

I'll watch it in the middle of July if I run across it. It's a tradition in my household to watch it right after thanksgiving.

This is one of our (wife and I) favorite Christmas themed movies of all time. The squirrel in the tree scene is great, and ya gotta love cousin Eddie. smile

A great couple of films. Imogene Coca riding on top of the car due to being dead is a classic.
