Just got my hall sensor mods for my cougar.....
For the guys who`ve already installed theres - could I ask a question !

Before I go splicing wires together.....

In the splicing hall sensor to PCB wire it shows 2 wires going into the splice.... theres 4 splices (1 spare) - so do I use 1 splice per wire? (using 3)

or in the diagram from Cubby theres Red and Black wires into 1 splice... hope that makes sense !

thanks in advance for the help

Each connector is used to connect two wires together. There are six wires total, so you'll use three connectors - the fourth one is a spare.

While you're in there you may as well clean off that gunky lube and do the aluminum foil stiction mod to the throttle shaft. I did it 6 or 7 years ago and it's held up so far with only minor maintenance.

if not ill have to order some Iso Alcohol...

Isopropyl Alcohol is Rubbing Alcohol. You can find it prtty much everywhere... Supermarkets, Drug Stores... etc.

The Artic stuff will probably work. However, we know that isopropyl alcohol won't dissolve the plastic in your throttle. We don't know that about any other solvent.
