Thanks!- Brings me back to the late 1980's when I showed fractals to my Maths class with an old Commodore 128... We've come a long way, baby!

Here's a really crappy 2D one I just made - I used to be very heavily into making fractals, even made posters 10,000 x 10,000 pixels with full antialising. I ABSOLUTELY MUST get into this new 3D method!!!!!!!

And another one, this time I rendered it smaller so I could post the exact size and have the antialiasing not be all screwed up - the finer structure should be much more visible. I tried to go for a bigger image but not too extreme, hope it works out...

That is actually somewhat true - fractal geometry is all over the place in nature, including in the construction of living things.

There's not even any controversy about it.

Fractal Extreme, I bought it ten year ago but there's a demo version you can do quite a bit with too.
