Well, we spent 6 months making a mission to suck up to The Hook magazine and received an invitation to buy ad space...so at least we weren't thrown overboard. : )
One of our failings is the absence of a good hands-on demo. I think we could get out of the bell jar we are in if we were to do the airshows and conventions. That is our plan once the last set is out. I have shown YAP to people at Edwards and Mojave. They are always amazed but then they go outside and climb into a real airplane and fly off. We are working on a laptop with a beer can holder so we can attract more pilots to the game.
As far as Lyle Bull, another failing is the A-6A. We are going to run quite a few missions off the CVAN-65 in the next set but Magical Bombing is not something we can pull off well. They just weren't dive bombers. (The fact that they actually hit what they were sent to hit still doesn't play out well in WOV.) I have/had several friends that flew Intruders and I would like to use it more. I think we would need a new model, though. (It's only money.) As far as portraying what it was like to be in an Intruder during a mission, that we can do, I think. I wish I had that pit file. We could make it work in both seats. That's something Kesselbrut could do in his sleep.
So both of those are terrific suggestions. We will shoot for the latter and continue to try to pull off some YAPCRAP with the bombing system.
