Thanks BadKarma--- I got that part! It's where I go in the command dial that I'm not sure of...
Boy, a hotkey command for "call a medic" would be nice!

Ah, sorry about that! When you are incapacitated just open the command menu, calling a medic is the only option then. If you wanted to be healed after being shot and dressing up you have to look at the medic and open the command menu there is an option "treat wounded" or something like that.

You can also select your medic and then use the orders menu on yourself from the map, pick treat wounded and he'll run to wherever you are and fix you up. If you are incap the radial menu is best of course

He'll have a little medic symbol next to his icon. Some missions don't have a medic so all you can do is stop the bleeding.

To be picky... Hospital Corpsmen are Navy Hospitalmen that are attached to Marine units (FMF). In other services, such as the Army and Air Force, they are Medics. In the Coast Guard and Navy they are Hospitalmen, only called Corspmen (bust mostly Doc) by the Jar... err... Marines.  -Skater

It's kind of surprising they used medic instead. They use enough military language that the dialog might as well be Chinese for a lot of average gamers but they changed corpsman for medic.
