Norway, but proud Spanish
"During the early days of the Vietnam War, the United States Air Force had almost full autonomy over the skies of Vietnam. However, once the Soviet Union and China began arming the North Vietnamese Army (NVA), with advanced Surface to Air missile (SAM) systems, the U.S. domination of the skies was abrubtly challenged. To deal with the new SAM threat, the U.S. Air Force decided to dedicate men and machine exclusively to the SAM's. Thus a new breed of aviator and aircraft were born, the "Wild Weasels."

The purpose of the "Weasels" was to seek out and engage NVA SAM sites, and if possible destroy them. Often times though, the only way the Weasel pilots could locate a SAM site was by getting the NVA to fire a SAM at them, thus revealing their position. Tantamount to a suicide mission, the Weasel missions were amongst the most dangerous sorties of the war. Losses in the Weasel squadrons were among the highest of the war. "

First af all we need to know how the target looks, so we can find it:

And here it is, the Fan Song, the adquisition radar that we mast destroy:

Now, if you don't feel like reading, you can just watch the video:

First we get some fuel which I think I am going to need because I plan to use burners a lot, I want to stay as fast as possible while I am around the target. It is not the missiles that I fear but the guns I presume will be protecting the site. The SAMs themselves won't be a problem as long I stay low and close to them.

Low level-high speed ingress flying between the hills. So close to the ground is difficult to spot the target but then I saw some launches at my two o'clock, I pop up, spot the target and then they saw me and shoot everything they got. Looking back after the pass saw the radar was hit and burning:

And they got pissed:

When the Strike guys arrive the guns shifted their focus to them so I made a couple of straffing passes trying to take some AAA out to relieve the strikers:

I saw the F105s did their job...

And they were leaving so all guns in the area were back on me, remember: Wild Weasels are first to arrive, last to leave. With the flak getting real thick it was my time to go home.

Downwind at Korat
