It may be rumour, but I understand there may be a problem with the Logitech drivers and 64 bit operating systems when it comes to the FF in RoF.

I read that in the reviews section for the G940 on the Logitech website.

Thanks Damocles. I'm not running at 64 bits (Trusty ol' XP for now). But who knows.

It should work fine. Try creating a profile in the Logitech software for ROF.

Also, I was told by Logitech_Mark that:

There is a more recent software build out, published after the G940 went into production. The production version was 5.06. 5.07 is available for download, but not yet linked to G940. You can get the proper download by following the support links from the G27 racing wheel.

If you get it working, let us know how much center play there is.

My G940 should be here tomorrow - so I hope the new drivers help as I have Vista 64bit.

Cheers

no FF for me either.

Vista 64 bit - latest 5.08 drivers.

I created a profile for ROF. Pointed it to ROF.exe
But still don't have FF.

What exactly do I need to do to set up the FF in ROF?

Cheers
Stuntie.

really weird, not vista64 problem because mine is working great, try without Wingman Profiler and use the option there, that games don't use any profile settings, and the put FF on in RoF launcher.

I don't know fellas. Mine works fine with Vista 64. I have no idea. Ask neoqb and ask Logitech to try and duplicate.

I would make sure that Windows see your stick in the Game Controllers to make sure at least Windows sees it to eliminate a USB issue.

Could you post your rof profile for us to look at to see how it diffrs from ours?

Have posted on Logitech site as suspect a driver issue.
Will try Neoqb as well.

That's great! So what are your thoughts? Is it as precise as your previous stick? Does the feedback mechanism seem "real" you or is there a machine-like feel reminiscent of the steering on early arcade driving "simulators"? In other words does it enhance the sensation of flight and does it allow you to fight and aim more precisely?
