Josef Pinkei, Jasta VII/XXII, served on the front lines in the Somme region from 16 August 1917 until 23 August 1917.
While his operational sorties weren't very noteworthy due to their brevity and lack of results, Pinkei was unique in that he was one of the few people born as a true albino. Suffering a number of hurdles throughout his life, it was ultimately blackmail and bribery - not hard work and dedication - that bought his place in the new air service.
A difficult man for the squadmates to include in their functions, Josef was too keenly aware that the spelling of his name, in English, also alluded to his condition. His bizarre insistance that it be pronounced as Pfaffenreider, coupled with a lack of attention to personal hygene that was only rivaled by his insistance in learning the Russian language through "complete immersion."
That nobody else in the squadron or at the aerodrome spoke Russian did little to impede his demands to be addressed in "the mother tongue." The fact that this might alienate others (as Germany was at war with Russia at the time) never seemed to occur to him.
In his first three sorties flying "White Something," a plane he painstakingly white washed and then painted white squadron and personal marking on, were uneventful, and Pinkei managed to survive all of them. Some historians believe that each of his flights home alone were due to intentional separation by his flight lead, but this has never been corroberated.
His growing unpopularity seemed to fuel his need to be even more outspoken, and it was with great bravado that he volunteered for night fighter duty on the evening of the 22nd. It is suspected that his aircraft paint scheme may have been somewhat of a hinderance to his mission; his plane was found behind friendly lines with no less than six hundred and ninety five holes from bullets of calibers from both sides and two types of enemy aircraft.
The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events. More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.comFrom Laser: "The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."

It does that when you slow down/speed up time.
Oh, and the picture is what happens when you try to use a custom skin online.

Was it not the Dicta Pinkei, being, at only one item, somewhat shorter than the more famous Dicta Boelcke, that stated;
1. "If possible, keep the moon behind you." ROFLMAO! ...and that orange/yellow disc is the time compression indicator. ( used in SP with the [ and ] keys )

Ah, but the point is that I don't have any custom skins installed, and I was in Single Player. Did the patch remove any skins?

Didn't Herman Meyer fly a white a/c?
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.
