Stuck in Yankee land..ugh
S!,
I haven't been paying much attention to what became of either game. Right now, what is the status of both? I know they have been released, but I really haven't heard if they fixed past problems.

So, could someone give me the break down on the pros and cons of both games now as they stand. Are they worth it? I really want to have a good tank sim, but I want it relatively bug free, good FPS (I've got an amd 6400+ dual core w/ 2gb ram, and gtx260), and good graphics(AA work now?).

Not true: --> SBP-PE. Benchmark simulation, no serious bugs, good FPS - and constant ongoing developement and upgrading. Originally a professional training tool for the miltary.

Well to be honest/direct he didn't ask about SB Pro PE (which is the best tank sim ever, but modern warfare only)... He asked about WW2 battle Tanks and Steel Fury...

to answer your question...

WW2 battle tanks... buggy, simple, broken MP, fun sim light SP action, no support from developers or community...

http://www.simhq.com/_land3/land_102a.html

Steel Fury... few bugs but not many, No MP, more of a simulation then an action game, under rated great game IMO, no support what so ever by the developers, but the community has done well with it, unofficial patch, widescreen support fix, Steel Panzer mod with tons of great stuff...

So to answer your Q. if you want a quick and easy, simple action WW2 tank game then WW2 battle tanks... If you want more of a WW2 tank simulation then Steel Fury with the unofficial patch and Steel Panzers mod. If you want MP, move along, nothing to see here. wink

I did not answer to the original question of Heinz, Magnum, but NSU's statement, and later PipsPriller's question. wink I know that Heinz asked about TvT and SF. But the other two referred to tanks in general, and asked about SBP in special. wink Don't worry, I am not here to raise another controversy - burnt kid avoids the fire. I was just taking Pips' question and NSU's statement as what they are.
