1. You can scroll back through your chat history to find messages you may have missed. Hit your key to bring up your chat prompt (default /) and press page up to go back and page down to go forward.

2. You can set waypoints for yourself on the map which will provide visual indicators as you move to show you where to go. In the map, shift+left click on a point on the map, then close the map. You will now have a floating indicator in your view which also displays distance, very useful for moving to waypoints assigned by squad leaders.

Another thing you may not know about ArmA2. When you call fatty for a pick up in the Seahawk, don't stand under the helo while he tries to land. Killed me, my entire 8 man squad, adlabs (I think) and some of his AI. I was laughing so hard it hurt. That and the picking up of the BMP while it was still active and then dropping it off in the ocean. I have never seen such precise flying or a more pissed off APC! Good times with Domination this weekend, guys.

Ha. Fatty's follies, that was a once in a gametime fluke, I was laughing too.

I think we should create a mission, place 4 unmanned tanks 2000m out, 4 Helos on the ground, 4 pilots. First one to run to their helo, spool up, take off and snag their tank, and drop them in the water wins! We'd need observers at the various stages of course, and a stop watch!

Can't be unmanned tanks, they have to be live to make it interesting! I just want to see if he could pick up a Tunguska that is still live. I promise to never fly an aircraft while fatty is on the server if he can do that and get it on fraps.

When you have a grenade launcher equipped with multiple varieties of grenades, you can use your mousewheel menu to select and load different ammunition such as coloured smoke.

When driving land vehicles you can press and hold default key 'Q' to drive at a slow speed, suitable for allowing foot-mobile infantry to keep in formation with you.
