I've checked around without much luck. Anybody here know of any scenarios for ArmA or Arma2 that simulate the X-Ray or Albany LZ battles in the Ia Drang in 1965? Even a relevant board game would be helpful. Just reread Hal Moore's great book, We Were Soldiers Once . . . And Young, after 15 years; it's much better than the movie with Mel Gibson, though that wasn't bad.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have the VTE mod installed? It's excellent.

"We Were Soldiers Once . . . And Young" that is a great bookT Truthfully the movie did a pretty good job of following the book which is a nearly impossible task. A second movie is needed to cover the second half of the book. Although it was such a disaster that I don't know if I could stand to watch it.

Yep, I don't post allot. But I still love you.

No I don't, I didn't read too much on it, it's been moved to ArmA2 right?

Thanks guys. I'll check into VTE.

You're right Hammer, the LZ Albany half of the book would make another terrific movie, in some ways even more desperate.

How does it play, Los? I notice it's version 0.4 -- a final alpha.
