Im not in the military but I was wondering what are some of the nicknames used for those who do covert ops?

Behind enemy lines, recon, and such.

I think 'Ghost' is one but wanted to know if there were more.

It doesnt have to be strictly US based.

Over the hills and far away.
My uncle was in the 1970's a special ops and he spent many nights in the DDR (East Germany) back then.
They had to report on enemy (communist) army transports and movement.
