http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQHCTT2t1lE (Saint Vitus - Still good after all these Years..WINO!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Izlkw5TMgsw (Black Sabbath - Hand of Doom)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYcOz1mA1SE (Drudkh - New album)

Ah yeah...So I got a bunch more I listen to...But if you guys have any favs post it up!

One of the best concerts ever was Black & Blue. Now that one should show my age.

minor metalhead. But it has to be the older metal material. The new stuff I just don't get into these days...

old Black Sabbath and the early stuff with Dio. Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell (1980) is on my 'top 10 alltime favorite music list.'
older Judas Priest albums are fantastic (Talkin' old old old old stuff like Rocka Rolla, Sad wings of destiny, Stained Glass). I think the live JP "Unleashed in the East" CD from ~1980 is extremely underrated for metal music!
Iron Maiden - the first two CDs (Iron Maiden and Killers) are classic! And i love the gothic themes.
Raven - crash, bang, wallop!

Heavy Metal, or no Metal at all!

I prefer mostly power metal and goth metal, but do listen to other stuff as well.

Some of my favorite bands are: Iron Maiden, Manowar, Nightwish, Kamelot, Iced Earth, Alice Cooper, Opeth, Candlemass, Bon Jovi, Savatage, Lacuna Coil, Hammerfall, Glittertind and lots more.

I tend not to enjoy the screamy death/black metal voices, prefering voices I can hear the lyrics of.

Metalhead here, but I'm VERY out of touch with the whole scene after around early 90's.

Only newer stuff I've had exposure to is Devildriver, Lamb of God, Cradle of Filth, and Necrophagist.

Oh, gotta give some kudos to Slipknot though - I guess in the metal scene nowadays even they might be considered to be "old school", but man, harshness it is!

I've been getting back into King Diamond lately, he really was one of the few original metal bands from the 80s. But nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can top Iron Maiden.

Glad to see Penetagram and Neurosis mentioned, couple of my faves.
I'll throw the name "Witchcraft" out there for my contribution.

Absolutely WHAM is my favorite band hahaha

j/k of course.

(Old)Metallica, Megadeth and Testament in that order are my favorite.

I'm talking Heavy Metal of course. Glam Rock/Hard Rock whatever from the '80s early '90s i liked also.
Listen to some stuff by Disturbed, Saliva and a few others now.
