The last time I really played SH3 and the Grey Wolves mod, must've been sometime back in '07, and I only realized late last week how far behind my install was. So, back to the North Atlantic, the North Sea, the North... ummm... anything north!

On the way out of Wilhelmshaven, I spy something big in dazzle-paint:
Tirpitz, of course! And they've brought out balloons in celebration of our mightiness:
We continue to steam out of port under escort to avoid subnets and mines scattered around. A gull has been waiting for this very moment to get publicized:
And when our friend leaves us, we make new ones:
Off into the tranquil night:
A new light appears off the starboard bow sometime later, and this thingy approaches with her "don't shoot me" lights full on:
On into dawn twilight and beyond:
Our pleasure cruise through the North Sea soon becomes cloudy, and then rain (this
is a reintroduction to SH3, after all!)
A good night for a night-surface attack, though, if only we spotted something flying the Union Jack
