I installed Janes and used the one-click installer so that I could have Iraq missions. The first thing I do is install Janes. I then run the one-click installer and everything works great. I run the Worldswapper and select "Irag". When I go into the game and click on one of the Irag missions, I get an error that says "Mission Object Error". I've searched around but can't find a solution to my problem. Anyone help?

Incorrect.

You need F-15 installed to install TSHv2. However, if you use the one-click installer (or the coming-soon TSH release) you do not ever need JF-15 installed. Once the Iraq Paq is installed, JF-15 does not need to be installed.

It sounds like you are loading a mission for which you do not have the appropriate objects installed. Since I believe the one-click installer places the standard TSH objects into your JF-18 install, I'm not sure why you are getting this message.

What is the specific mission that's giving you errors? Do you get the errors with other missions?

I get the same error message about "mission object error" on all of the Iraq missions. I even did an uninstall and reinstalled Janes F18 and used the one click installer. I have an old copy of Janes F-15 somewhere, but I thought the new installer eliminated that step. I also checked to make sure any of the installers etc. had the XP compatibility and "run as administrator" checked...since I have Vista. When I run the 1click installer, it creates TSHV1installer, TSHV3 manager and WorldSwapper. Any suggestions of what I can try? Thanks.

To be more specific regarding which mission has this problem, it is any of the missions under "Single Mission". All of the missions there have the correct names for the Iraq theater...like "Desert Fox". There is this problem with object errors when I click any of those missions.

Thanks for the specifics. I'm not exactly sure what your problem is, but if you sit tight for a week there will be a new TSH release for you to download/install, and hopefully all problems will go away at that point.

Ok, I will wait for the next installer. I will stick to Ncape for now. I really appreciate all of the time that has been devoted to Jane's F-18. I bought this sim when it was first released, and I keep going back to it...true classic!
