Viks,
lots of people are interested in Single play, so ....
Will addon flyables be able to fly in the dynamic campaign?
yes Will addon flyables that are from nationalities other then US or German be able to have careers?
yes, youll be able to choose French squad at release, soon after we will release british fighters - youll be able to fly for brits as well. Is there a custom built campaign included in the frist release - to show hows its done?
no, but we will have a set of missions to check it out. ya welcome

Thanks Viks, good news, I was a bit worried about addon flyables having campiagns, at least initially. My first campaign will be the Nieuport 17 - french sounds good . But with the Mission Builder, is it possible to make a campaign as against a set of single missions, eg, automatically sent to next mission, score kept, medals, or something? Personally, though its great to have a dynamic campaign engine, I prefer custom crafted campaigns, I'm sure I and many others will enjoy building campaigns if that is possible?

Mission Editor is ready (dunno when we will release it, as we need to make a game release first) as about your question - we have some ideas, but they will be in "real" a bit later, cant answer this question with detaild right now.

Okay, I want the game now anyway. Happy to wait a bit for a FMB, but please release it ... good for everyone. Final question on this, promise : There must be a Quick Mission Generator for SP? Like IL2? Anything you can tell us about that generally ... setting skill levels of enemy AI, max planes etc? Anything new or different to what we are used to in other games?

I guess it came with the choice of initial planes to be modelled (BTW I'm still not sure if the Fokker or the Albatross are going to be the german ride?). Look out Colonel, but now that we're all trying to be very precise, and not hoping to mislead anyone here, it's actually not Albatross.

"Ouch" about no English option on release, but an American instead... - hope this won't come back and bite you in the behind... The lack of an RFC/RAF campaign on release is bizzare. This is Western front WW1....... Its like Maddox shipping IL2 without a Russian campaign.

Forgive and forget FR, once you start checking up on people's posting habits you're in trouble, don't judge people until you've walked in their shoes and check the announcement about EA not liking DRM any more. God forbid you end up on the wrong side of the entrenched lines. There are no lines there's just this moment Ming

VikS, must say i am getting confused here. From the ROF Blog, Key features: Mission editor with different level of complexity I assume in above you are talking about a Full Mission Builder? So whats the Mission Editor? If the same, maybe the Features list needs to be updated, or if not, made more clear. My question is still: Is there a quick mission builder (there must be), and can you tell us anything about it please? Eg, setting AI skill levels, max number of planes, can or cannot fly different types of missions etc? The first release is close to being finished? Surely its a good idea to get the features clear, and provide some more general information, maybe here and certainly on Blog.

Ming, your EA report redifines that requiring an online account login is not DRM. Anything that gives the publisher control over your software AFTER you buy it is by definition DRM. Copy Protection is a disk check or a serial key, but that is all inside your computer. DRM starts - by definition - when the rights holder, AFTER selling you the software, keeps it on a leash.
