Colmack, I was literally testing the Quang Khe Ferry mission for hours last night trying to resolve my BSOD error also. I have some conclusions from those tests, but for now have one question for you: does that mission by chance use the carrier CVA-14L and/or CVA-14R?

First, try the shadow file, if there is one. Take it out and see what happens.

John,

I "fixed" it by using the showtime_101 missions headers shoot there were only a few differences like time start and enemy Resistance But hey it works for me now!! thumbsup

I would like to know more about this fix since this is the only mission in the first 2 sets I can't load (blue screen reboot)--even with the lowest settings and the cloud swap I mentioned in the "Blue Screen" thread below.

Like how much of the "Showtime 100" do you swap in-- headers??? are what?

Or if 05 has another way to do that would be great. I do have shadows turned off in options.

I am running an older PC so I"m happy with 99% of YAP2 but 100% would be cool.

That fix did nothing but adjust the weather...or the clouds which are huge items for weaker machines. Thus, if you are having a problem, you should take advantage of the lower-level environments in the folders that came with YAPv2...or just adjust the cloud thickness but that seems like a pain in the butt.

The blue-screen crash on Quang Khe Ferry, I have suspected, was due to the object size of that particular ship and that has been fixed and is being tested. But, as you know, the same problem did not occur in Brass Balls. Same ship. The difference is the cloud cover.

While those clouds are some of the best in the video game world, they require some choices to see them.
