What do you get for $24.95? I have WOV already.
Do I get 100 missions? 10 and some new aircraft? Do I have to get physical cds or can I order to download?
Let's discuss buying options...

Are the YAP1 missions lost or are they some of the "bonus" missions? Also, is there a download option? If I buy today, I want to have this downloaded today.

Exhausted, There are no more YAP1 missions. Gone, poof. (of course I have them, "tease") but they are useless in YAP2. Bonus missions are those that have never been released true stories until now, mostly because we did not have the toys necessary to tell the story. So if you buy today, you get for real CD's in your mailbox.

A "bonus mission" is just like a "counter". The truth is, we like the 100-mission idea but we have a lot more stories than that. So we either throw away very good stories to keep the count correct or we just call them bonus missions. When we put a carrier into a set, we like to concentrate stories from it into the set. Some of those end up being bonus missions so the set isn't overwhelmingly Navy. We try to adhere to a pattern. We always include an A2A, a helicopter, a USMC, a refueler, a USAF, a night mission and a USN.

So, to understand you correctly, that the initial purchase for $24.95 only gets 10 missions, mods and a few bonus missions, correct? If so, what do each 10 additional missions cost, $24.95? Thanks

We have to put them out in sequence. At the end of YAP1, we were shipping 300 megabyte downloads because we kept providing the Huey and the Spad and the Midway. And, really, few people bought one set at the end. They usually bought them all. It's the only way we can have all the props in place. People will ask about the coupon for old customers. Here it is: Arrangements will be made very shortly.

So, anything with regards to cost per module or am I misreading the concept. I have scoured the home page and nothing solid on there, other then WoV and YAP2 available as a set or just YAP2 seperately for $4.00 less. There is mention of completing 100 missions, but I am still unclear as to what I get for $24.95? Zero, anyone.......?

From what's been said, it's not clear what the new packs will cost, and if they'll revisit any of the original missions, but it sounds like they'll be all new and different.
It looks like the original had ten add-on packs for over 100 missions, but those are no longer available. Perhaps they should get bundled up with Yap1, and sold as a discount bundle?

Zerocinco, So, you'r saying the missions 01-100 are all included for the $14.95 price? If so, even more confusing about what the 24.95 price is then. So, if possible, a bit more clarification would be greatly appreciated by myself and I am sure others. Maybe it was not asked clearly enough.
$14.95.
They include:
01-10 = Ticonderoga 11-20 = Constellation 21-30 = Hancock 31-40 = Independence 41-50 = Ranger 51-60 = Enterprise 61-70 = Oriskany 71-80 = Intrepid and Coral Sea 81-90 = Bon Homme Richard and Kitty Hawk 91-00 = Midway
About thirty-five aircraft. We will have another at the end of this week and another by Monday.

Just for frame of reference, Third Wire is selling WOV as a download for $19.99. Amazon has the disc version for $17.99. I couldn't get a hit on GoGamer's website. That's just for Wings Over Vietman.
If you already have it, great. If you don't, this is a good opportunity to get it. I think we've all seen comments that this game is becoming scarce in the world.
Just a comment on the Members Area. I really enjoy it. It's got all the Set's missions listed, a detailed briefing for each, a really nice map of the target area which should help you set up your IP and target path, and a link to Google Earth so you can see what the real target area looks like. Plus some other goodies.
A very nice touch.

I am also confused about this (doesn't take much though)
I have just ordered the whole package (WOV+YAP2) for 36 dollars so what will I get? I assume a WOV disc and a YAP2 disc. But how many missions? 10 or 100? Where does the $14.95 come from?

I am truly suprised at the amount of confusion in just stating what the price is for this. Ultimately, I do not mind buying modules, however not too excited about spending $14.95 per 10 mission module, if the case. However, $14.95 or even $24.95 for the entire 100 missions and add ons is great! So, am on the fence purchasing this and it sounds as though many others are just seeking clarity on the price as well. I have read nothing but great things about YAP1 and 2, but please just clarify what the final price is. Thanks
Matt
PS, I have bought every TK series product, so have always thoroughly enjoyed the series. Just don't want to get pulled into a series where I must buy multiple modules when I am assuming I am buying them all for one price is all.

Just don't want to get pulled into a series where I must buy multiple modules when I am assuming I am buying them all for one price is all. Check out the Mission Sets on the Yankee Air Pirate website. Each Mission Set contains 15 to 20 individual missions. I think that you can assume that each individual Mission Set is what you get for each of your individual $14.95 purchases. If I understand correctly, the first mission set comes with your original basic YAP2 purchase of $24.95 or $29.95. So, after the original purchase (of $25.95 or $29.95) you spend $14.95 EACH for EACH individual Mission set (9 x $14.95 = $134.55). It seems logical to me. That's my "take" on the whole situation -- but I'm probably wrong. Exactly what do we get for our $14.95? CB

Hi All,
I believe Curious142 is correct. Because that is how I purchased YAP1. There was an initial cost for the first mission set, followed by an additional $10.00 dollar cost for each of the other nine mission sets.

$14.95.

About thirty-five aircraft. We will have another at the end of this week and another by Monday. Set 1-10 is included with the intial purchase. You then get your Member ID and password. Each additional set of missions is $14.95 is you so desire to purchase any.

Okay, so $36 + $135 = $170 to get the whole thing.

That's fine with me. Seems reasonable. I just want to get the thing working on my rig. I have no problem with paying for the work that has been done.
I also did not receive the e-mail with my YAP2 member account. Can someone send that info out to me?
Are all the mission sets available right now? Can we login and buy them all now? Is there a discount for buying all the mission sets at once?
