XIII the game was awesome. David Duchovny did the voice for the lead character. Basically, its a story about a guy who wakes up on a beach and can't remember who he is and what happened to him. Then, he slowly regains his memory throughout the game as well as his "super-skills" like silent walking, lock-picking, dual pistol use, etc. The game was made in a comic-book like style and the story was pretty good, leaving gamers an ending for a perfect sequel. Unfortunately, the sequel never came.

I remember reading about the game and about Duchovny doing the voice of the main character but I had no idea that they were making a movie or tv show based on it.

Actually, XIII is a belgian comic before they made a game out of it. Wikipedia entry It draws heavily on the plot of "The Bourne Identity" in the first books, mixed with a fictionalized Kennedy assassination. Over the course, it became pretty independent in plot and character design. Heavy recommendation for all fans of french-belgian comics and conspiracy/action themes.

I will have to check it out tonight. Guess that means I will miss watching The L Word with the sound off though.

I watched the first half hour and went to bed. What a snoozer. I never got around to watching it but I'm curious to know why you thought it was a snoozer.

There wasn't anything happening. They did the assassination, but didn't really set up any plot lines. The guy who killed the president got shot and ended up in a tree. Amazingly enough, he is found by a guy who is married to a retired doctor who takes care of him. It just wasn't going anywhere.

Then you missed a lot. The assassin was NOT the guy in the tree.
