Can I play OFF P3 if I upgrade my Dell Dimension B110 PC from a Celeron D to a P4 3.2 Ghz 2 Gb RAM and a video card instead of 865GV chipset on board graphics? I'm pretty the former will be sufficient but all the mobo has for a gpu is PCI slots.

According to the OFF webpage, the minimum video card needed for reasonable performance is:
OFF minimum = NVidia Geforce 6600GT (256MB) or a RADEON X850 XT

Since my mobo will only handle a pci card, I'm wondering if one of the following cards will be adequate:

GeForce FX 5500 256MB, Geforce 9400gt 512 mb or Radeon 9250 256MB

I'd appreciate any advice.

I'd go for the 9400GT 512Mb. With OFF what is needed is a fast processor and plenty of memory. If those three cards are your only choices, go for the 9400. I ran a Pentium 4 with Phase 2 and it did okay, but BHaH is optimized (whatever that means) and, from what they say, should run better than P2.

Be sure that Dell has a power supply capable of running the new system, especially the video card. I believe they put out some very low power (wattage) systems at times.
