General Information

Please read this information carefully so you will be ready-to-go for your class. If you have a question prior to the class, please post it in this thread.

1) Each of you will receive a SimHQ private message from me at approximately this same time tomorrow. The PM will contain 2 passwords. The first is your access to the special channel on the SimHQ TeamSpeak server. The second is your access to the SimHQ DCS: Black Shark server. These will be new passwords for the classes, and each class will have their own passwords.

2) We strongly suggest you log into the SimHQ DCS: Black Shark and TeamSpeak servers 10 minutes before your class starts. Anyone not logged-in and ready-to-go at the specified start time will miss their class.

3) For training, Shepski will do a demo while you watch in the "F2 external view" then you get to try it. He will create a special training mission for beginner and intermediate classes.

4) Please maintain quiet by muting your microphone during Shepski's training so everyone can get the most from the class.

5) If you have a question during the training, please type a "?" in the chat window and wait to be acknowledged.

6) Check this thread before your class for any late information.

Thanks a lot to all involved, especially to Doug and Shepski! Especially the bit about the ABRIS was very helpful for me and finally I know what this little nav power switch is for. Thanks again!

Very well done Shepski! Loads of great info. Looking forward to more of these! Thanks Shepski and SimHQ!

A big thanks again to Mark "Shepski" Shepheard who devoted his Saturday afternoon plus time to create custom training missions for today's classes. You're first class sir!

If you missed the classes, all three will be packaged with the mission, syllabus and recorded wav file so you can download them for reference. I'll post the links in here once it's ready.

When Mark's schedule permits, we will have another round of classes.
