Thanks, i'll check those out. I'm more into the offline games. Didn't know tvst is online only. T vs. T is not online only. I've only played it offline. What he means by "online" is that it has online capability unlike Steel Fury. And T vs. T does not have very many single player missions, so many people consider it primarily an online sim. But it's really both SP and MP.

thx again, i see there is a steel beasts pro PE. Is that different from steel beasts pro? I think they mean the same game. All you need to know is this: T v. T and Steel Fury = $40-$50. Steel Beasts Pro PE = $125. If you have the cash, do what you want. Otherwise...

I believe the PE version is for civilians - commercial release that takes out some of the mil specific features used in training.

Hi tmdgm, Heres my spec's emachines AMD 3800+ 2.4 running Vista 32 Home Premium 2 mb sdram Geforce 7600GT 512mb 17" LCD Monitor at 1440x900 75mhz desktop resolution , game running at same desktop resolution DX10 Game runs pretty smooth, no hangs or stutters. All options set a little above what the game recomended. During heavy action FPS stays around 20-25. Hope this helped. If you get SF make sure to get the unoffical patch it helps a lot

No problem tmdgm, If I remember correctly I linked to another site from someone asking where to get the patch at the Graviteam site in the forums section. I think it was a site called tanksim.ru. (I think theres a link here somewhere in this forum too) It's a Russian site but has a translater and has several mod's there for the English version of SF also. Since I last posted here, I have downloaded another unoffical patch for SF from the same tanksim.ru site. It's kind of weird as this patch is titled Steel Panzer 1.2, maybe the Russian name for SF? The mods are pretty good to, there's one there that allows you to play in the PzIII and StugIII and the British Valentine (no interiors though), lots more then I can remember off the top of my head. I don't have TvT, I could only afford one right now and after doing some in depth reading I decided to go with SF first for several reasons. I still plan on getting TvT later (unless SF ends up adding a Tiger down the road ). You can find a SF demo at the Graviteam site but what is funny is the demo almost made me almost not buy SF, the demo just didn't play well on my machine at all. But in all fairness I'm not sure if this was the demo I played or if it was an earlier version. I can say this though it looks like SF has a more active community then TvT has, in the aspect of mods and patches and probably more campaigns soon. But as someone mentioned here SF is SP only so if MP is more important TvT is the way you should go. I know SF has a new addon coming out called SF Fall Bleau (?) it looks to be set in 1943, but I have not read up on it much to see how much it differs then SF 1942. Hope this helped somewhat
