Hi

If I take over a training mission, Controlled Hover, for example, trim works wonderfuly, no problems whatsoever with my Afterburner II.
if I try to play a mission made by myself I can't set trim to save my life. Trimming and recentering doesn't work at all, everytime I release the stick it pitches up into the default trim setting.
I've tried with the stabilization turned off and on, with the flight director off and on, I've tried to copy the switch possitions from the Controlled Hover tutorial and nothing helps, I have to keep pushing the stick to fly forward.
Does anyone have any ideas why this happens?

Again, I know how to set the trim, but it only works in tutorials, not in custom missions

Hi Seulba. Not sure what's going on unless you are cranking up the wind and turbulence in your home made missions. They pretty much are the same animal, canned or custom, unless you've added some variable that is not in the training missions. One other thing, could it be one is in Simulation mode and the other in Game?

I made a simple mission just to get used to the beast.
Added a KA-50 at Min Vody and that was all.
I started the mission, pressed Win-Home to autostart to make sure it wasn't something I wasn't turning on and when I take off, and try to trim it, it won't accept the new trim setting, it remains in the default trim, trying to pull up all the time.

All my flying is done on full realism, do you think that the training missions have some sort of settings that make them always run on relaxed settings? Wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose of having them?

Sebulba, is the trim set on your stick, if so check and make sure it is set on KA-50 Real. I had created a comms profile for my X-52 and when I next flew all my settings had changed in the game setup. If not I don't know wht it's not working.

What do you mean if my trim is set on my stick?
One of the buttons is assigned to the trim function. If I take control of a tutorial it works if I fly a mission it does nothing, and the same happens if I use the "T" key

I found out what my problem was, Force Feeback was on in Producer.cfg, probably making the sim think I had a FF stick. I set it to false and now eveything works perfectly.
