So do the guys in the Army get to play with this in a full sized sim set up?
Being out of work doesn't feel so bad when there's something like that to look forward to..

Looks amazing!!! happy christmas!

The flight stick looks incredibly similar to that of the F-16! If the HOTAS documentation is as comprehensive as Black Shark, it's gonna be a snap to configure for those of us w/ CH/TM gear!

The stick grip is indeed that of the F-16, the right throttle is from the F-15E but the left throttle is from the A-10A.

This was part of the Suite 3 upgrade smile

Great shots, thanks Shepski! I'm honestly happy that the modules are released with something like nine month in between. I just couldn't make my mind up which of these crates I would want to learn to fly first. Having a blast with BS at the moment and I'm sure the A-10 will bring the same enjoyment. One thing I can't wait for is the Hind though. I really hope it's not that far down the line.

That's the one that I'm most looking forward to, too.

I can barely put into words how impressed I've been with Black Shark. ED have really knocked it out of the park. The feel of the helicopter is amazing and the campaign (first one) is utterly absorbing. The sense of "being there" and actually being the pilot of a combat helicopter is unbelievable - in that it's totally believable! biggrin

I've also been hugely impressed with the creativity and variety in the campaign missions. Each one is brand new adventure and carefully pitched to teach/test something new at pretty much the perfect level of difficulty.

I really hope that Black Shark is enough of a success to validate all of the proposed add-on aircraft. There is no question in my mind that this is the best flight simulation that I have ever played. Period.

No, of course not.

Now, the US Air Force on the other hand...

I suspect what ED have produced for the US ANG is a desktop training tool. Large full motion simulators are expensive hardware, having a few PC's set up with one of ED's products would be much much cheaper.

I'm sure Matt or someone else close to ED could confirm how the ANG product gets used.

Looks great Mark,

Some questions:

1. How will these upgrades be handled for those that already own DCS when released?
2. What a/c is next after the A10, the Apache? (if so, which version?)
3. Will there be a different map area to fly the new A/C with?
4. Will there be an online campaign mode in the DCS series?

Thanks,

S!

pfff.... - Yes, certainly, and you will get it leatherbound with gold-embossed letters, as a gift from DCS.
