OK, since we seem to have a ton of movie buffs here at SimHQ, I'm gonna start a movie trivia thread. I'm gonna throw out three questions, people answer yadda, yadda, or throw out three questions of your own and we'll go 'round and 'round.
1. In the film "Vanishing Point", what state was Kowalski driving to California from?
2. In the remake of the film "Ocean's 11", what was the name of the pub that George Clooney requested Matt Damon meet him in?
3. and since this is Christmas time, and my birthday is horrifically close, in the film "Bad Santa", while in Arizona, what series BMW was Billy Bob Thornton's character driving around in?

I saw Bad Santa just a couple years ago, but I don't remember the car at all. I'm just going to guess a 3-series.
Doesn't Kowalski start off in Denver? Somewhere that is relatively close to California. Basically he's just trying to crossing the desert in the film.

Really wish I could remember what he drove in Bad Santa. I usually like BMW's too, so I'm surprised I didn't pick up on it.

Crud Electra, I'm stuck on all three of your trivia questions. I have seen "Ocean's 11" but only once so there is no way I would remember the name of the pub. Here are a couple of trivia questions from me, 1. In the movie "Amadeus", what's the name of the opera where you see two actors dressed as parakeets? 2. In the movie "Seven Samurai", how many samurai end up surviving by the end of the film?

Pub was "Emmit's" in Chicago, at least in reality. Can't remember if they used another name in the film though. correct!

Correct! Here's one more question for all of you, In the movie "Empire Strikes Back", which Imperial officer does Admiral Piett replace?

Woohoo!
In Clerks, what film is the customer waiting for Randall to open the video store hoping to rent?

3. and since this is Christmas time, and my birthday is horrifically close, in the film "Bad Santa", while in Arizona, what series BMW was Billy Bob Thornton's character driving around in? I saw this a week or so ago and I'm fairly sure the BMW was a 7 series. Here's another question: What do the movies 'Titanic' and 'The Sixth Sense' have in common?

Here's another question: What do the movies 'Titanic' and 'The Sixth Sense' have in common? I've been mulling this question around in my mind for hours now and I really dont know the answer but I'll think about it some more today. This question is driving me mad!
