I will be in Orlando from Tuesday-Sunday of next week with my dad and his GF, long story short she's on a business trip and me and him are going to play while shes at work and keep her company at night. My dad and I were wondering what we could do down there. We are both Huge military fans, so any museums military or history related would be great. Also any restaurants or other things you guys can recommend would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps!

I'd go here http://sun-n-fun.org/content/museum/main.asp?section=museumI have yet to go, but been meaning to. Been living here in Orlando 4 years and haven't done squat. There are airboat rides, Cape Canaveral, it's still hot here so there are the beaches. Went up towards Daytona to eat here once. http://www.jbsfishcamp.com/Best local seafood I've had since I've been here. It's kind of a dive which I loved. Not that much good local food here in Orlando that I know of. I mean there are local places but not much stands out at least for me. You can go to Daytona for Biketoberfest Oct 16+. That'll be nuts. Out of all the parks I would go see Epcot. Out of all of them thats the only one I want to go back to one day. You should go to Wally's Tavern. It's a local dive bar that's open just about 24hrs and about the size of a living room. It's a classic. http://orlando.citysearch.com/profile/2380557/orlando_fl/wally_s_mills_avenue_liquors.htmlIf you want boobie bars the best I heard are near Tampa or in Cocoa Beach or Daytona. There are some in Orlando but they're lame. Downtown has a small "bar district" but it's pretty lame as well. check out this guide http://www.orlandoweekly.com/

There's http://www.warbirdadventures.com/ and http://www.fantasyofflight.com/ Warbird Adventures is interesting even if you don't take a ride. They're duplicating an FW190 by hand from original parts. Haven't been to Fantasy of Flight in awhile, think they've recently added a full scale Fokker DVIII to their collection. Last time I was at Fun-n-Sun don't remember much of a museum, Fun-n-Sun is best in April when the fly-in is going on.

If you like the outdoors, the Ocala National Forest is a short distance away. Birdwatching in FL this time of year is great fun, especially if you're doing it from a kayak. Just make sure to take mosquito repellant.

Its not a 'real' old town, more a simulation of one, Cheers, Keith Ah, sort of like Williamsburg, VA.

I'd go to the Kennedy Space Center. I was there in February and I'd love to go again. Takes all day, but man is it worth it. There is a warbirds museum just before you get on site, although I didn't go inside.
Definately, KSC.
