Search is down

So I am thinking of doing a run through of HL2 again and then try out any good mods

anyone got any suggestions, don't have any of the addon stories, so it is only for straight hl2.

Cheers all

I'd love to know too, Always wondered if there were more singleplayer mods. I hate playing online FPS...

All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps!

here's a pretty good list:
http://www.moddb.com/games/half-life-2/m...heme=def&type=1

some that come to mind are
Minerva is a good one. i think there's 3 or 4 different chapters.

Ether is a different take on the whole HL2 game...basically just uses the engine and the physics to have you solve puzzles. pretty original and kinda crazy lol

Still stuck in the campaign mission. Striders and these huge walker things. Supposed to defend the base....no joy.

In his review of The Orange Box, Yahtzee substitutes kitten heads for those of the strikers and tri-walkers. Talk about hilarious... ;\)

ah yes the joy of buying a game and then having to dowload the rest of it for 8 hours longer (maybe even more). i remember when i first bought HL2, thinking it would be an easy 'install and go' and still didn't have access to high-speed internet. i spent almost 2 DAYS dl all the files on a 56k modem just so i could play the damn thing. ridiculous

I did HL2 on dialup too, back when it launched. Ouch.
