Could be both, as well as the possibility that M2 just didn't inspire the sort of comedy gold his review of HALO 3 did... ;\) Seems like this was one of those "nobody really seems to cares about so it's not really overhyped, nor is it seriously broken" kind of games.

Actually, I had the first Mercenaries on the XBox...one of the best console games I ever played. As I don't have an XBox 360, and I don't think I'd like the controls on a PC, I'll have to pass on this one.
