And at Gettysburg..
At Gettysburg! Cool! Last time I was there was a lot of fun and quite the learning experience. I have family that are on the PA Monument there. When I told my driver that, he told me if I could point them out on the Monument he'd give me a tour like none he'd given before. He took me to the Monument straight away, I showed him their names, and I was in for a treat! Their unit was at Little Round Top and wow, just wow, the tour I got. Hope yours was as good Weas!

Dude, Little Round Top is my favorite area, and the back side where the 20th Maine held the flank up to running out of ammo and fixing bayonettes...and still held. I've been to Gettysburg about three or four times and I still get chills. My wife's dad is buried at Gettysburg National Cemetary (WWII and Korean War vet). What was really cool was last time when I took my 14 year old daughter. She'd just learned about the Civil War in school so she was actually interested...yay!

Here's a pic from a few weeks ago at the local Renaissance Faire. I got tired of of the whole "Let's dress up medieval and go to the Faire" thing so I decided I was going to hang out with the primitive screw-ups as "Ash" from the Evil Dead/Army of Darkness movies. With some barbarians: Spanish knight: War cry before charging the Army of Darkness: Heh, the boom-stick fires caps, the chainsaw makes a buzzing noise and screaming sounds and vibrates and the Necronomicron screams when you poke the eye and has the texture of skin. Fun! v6, boNes

Me: Freycinet, was that photograph taken in Scotland? It looks vaguely familiar but the hills in the far background mean that it can't be any of the fishing villages I'm thinking of. Right-click, "properties", is your friend... :-) It is Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, Scotland. I believe it appears in some British childrens' TV show. Ah, Google is our friend too, and the TV series was "Balamory", as mentioned by our third friend, Wikipedia.

Me in the office yesterday. In spite of the look on my face, I was in a pretty good mood.
