Looks like I'm monopolizing this forum lately. \:\)

I recently installed LB2 and EECH/EEAH and no, this isn't a comparison thread -- they both are completely absorbing, to the annoyance of my lovely wife. But several unrelated Longbow 2-specific questions:

First, I have the graphics looking good now with dgVoodoo, except in training mode. Then everything is heavily washed out. Any idea why?

Second, I can't launch any of the pregenerated missions or create a mission. When I click on them, the sim just pops me back to the back-of-the-truck screen. Anyone else have this problem?

Finally, I've read the comm threads and would like to test whether I can play online. Anyone up for testing my connection? My ports are forwarded and Teamspeak works fine. I have no trouble online with other sims. Let me know with a PM or contact me for a time this weekend at franx[at]usermail.com.

Can't help you much with 1 and 2. I know I can launch pregenerated missions or create Random missions, and my Training Missions look washed out too. Going to options/Graphics and turning the Gamma all the way down helped (I think DGVoodoo has a Gamma setting as well that might be useful). Haven't done a mission in NTC for awhile, but I don't recall the normal theatre looking that bright.

As for #3, if you've read the comms threads, you know that the odds are very good that you will never be able to host through a router, but client connections should work fine. If you don't get a response, I might be able to find a time when I can disconnect my router for a quick test.

I will now Flyboy. Thanks for the great site! It was invaluable last weekend when I spent hours trying -- and finally succeeding -- to get LB2 to work. \:\)

Heh! You know, as soon as I posted that message I thought "Uh Oh.. I downloaded all those Flyboy NTC missions and haven't flown them... he is going to say SOMETHING" :-)

Haven't actually flown ANY missions in LB2 for quite some time since completing an online AZR campaign quite a few months ago. I kind of got screwed out of my campaign ribbon, though, due to an odd bug that we hadn't seen before...so maybe it is time to crank up again. Need a bit of practice, so maybe I will start flying some Single Player missions to get my hand back in.

Nope.. I don't think I even opened MPlus since we had our little troubleshooting discussions.

When I win the lottery I will have more time for this stuff \:\)
