tired of hearingHe means he's tired of reading unless he's getting an earful over Teamspeak... "Will you guys shut up about KotS!" <silence> You have to hear I suppose, earplugs being anti-social but are you quite sure you need to read Or write for that matter Ming

It's having all that flight-sim group backstory Brigs, there's not much point in getting how do you spell aeriated- we've got the aeriation but no one knows how to spell it lol it's enough to get one aeriated. Is it a British thing. Anyway a tizzy. Not to get into one. But it's understandable that the accumulation, the attrition, the weight of low morale with no news from the front, one's sorely tempted to go colloquial and ask gennadich to throw us a bone here. Not one's style though, not upfront anyway. One slips in the pressure for updates where one can, does one er, not Twanging the elastic and going off at the developer never makes an impression, best have a plan. Mine is to infiltrate Are We There Yet threads in an effort to exert more credible pressure on our developer to understand how a little goes a very long way. A screenshot is worth a thousand words. More in China. A shot of a plane in a field is hardly passing vital information to the enemy... Market forces. See while they've been developing these two fantastic-sounding and possibly up-coming sims we've been getting legal degrees and boning up on the power of consumer pressure groups Ming

I do trust VikS FR, thanks mate that's reassuring although I haven't considered that we won't be getting it eventually, gennadich has the bulldog spirit I think they'll grind it out and maybe they'll be surprised at the large number of copies they'll sell. People are finding out about the power of immersion. Matrix-like Knocking about in system housekeeping today I found the KotS tech demo download with the Dr1 and self-shadowing. Copied it to every drive on my system just in case. Absolutely beyond comparison I can't wait to fly this one there's such a realistic feel, the terrain looks miles better than Microsoft's terrain-net version which I'm sure is more accurate if the KotS terrain net is based on Oleg's rolling acres. But anyway even without digital elevation (sharp corners) it looks proper combat-flight-sim realistic like the Looking Glass WW2 sim promised but <whimper> Ming

Well, I missed one.
'Wings over Israel' from 'Third Wire' just came out.
And while you are waiting if you want to bother you can try 'First Eagles'.
It will help the long wait until KOTS comes out.
Race you to the Mucky Duck!

Well tired of hearing "This Dec" for the last 2 years and now again. Game isn't coming out. What other games are out there in flight sim arena worth playing . Is the Battle Of Britain game coming out or is it a vapor fume also. How about the Pacific area?? Did you even try all the flyables in Il-2 1946?

Why, yes. Yes I have. From the crappiest flugesplane to the uberest uber plane. As I've said elsewhere, if they were to simply offer a demo with one or two planes...for a fee! It would shut the pieholes and give us something to wrangle till release. I see KOTS- to the left you'll see the Wings with Wires...over there...to the right.. just in front of BoB and the 4.09 patch

I called that the sim was never going to be released. I firmly stand by that. Now if I could just get my money from Crop, we can delete this entire forum. December, 2005. Please ignore the ugliness on the following pages between Crop and I, however. I called it What exactly did you call? Half a year ago I had stick time in it....but wait...you called it

Oh the negativity morelike.. Whats the point in posting? You either believe and have a positive outlook.. Or you don't, in which case if you are that negative, why even bother your arse to post? I think is important to write things like this, we as the potential buyers should know if the product is not going to happen, the developers sure read this forums,so what is the point of keeping us in a positive outlook as you say, if they already know the sim is cancelled!, and for the contrary, if they are working in the sim, but dont want to release any videos, screeshots for whatever reason they have (ala SoW BoB), they should tell the consumers that they have some reasons to not reveal the status of the sim but that they are working hard on it. Is that hard to comunicate with the sim community?

Merged.
It's kind of fun putting all the "this sim is dead" threads into one big one.
The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events. More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.comFrom Laser: "The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."
