I have read the posts to get back into navigation mode from AA, or Ag.....however, since i am dense...when i push c to cancel i get the eegs screen.....same way if i push the ag/aa buttons sometimes.......lets say i am aa mode and push enter to change weapons a couple of times.....i push in the aa button to turn off aa and get into the eegs mode..if i push c i still cannot get to the nav mode.....don't know what i am doing wrong......so what is the easiest way to get back to nav mode? Thanks for making it simple for us in dolt nation......

To get out of AA or AG mode push the AA or AG button a second time. C is used to cancel the override modes: missile override (m default key) and dogfight override (d default key).

By "AA button" do you mean 'enter' or the 'AA' button of the UFC in the cockpit? I found that hitting enter will only cycle through the AA (or backspace for AG) weapons, but if I click on the AA button in the UFC, I will cycle though them and then get back to NAV mode.

I was talking about the actual button on the ICP. Enter does not take you out of AA mastermode.

Best and easiest way for me is the shift+keypad enter...maybe i should look at the keyboard commands???? Thanks for all the answers.....

Looks like you got what you wanted but, if not, here's a recap... (others have posted the same answers above me, as well)

- Pressing Backspace will switch the Master Mode to AA mode if not in AA mode, and will select the next AA weapon if already in AA mode.

- Pressing Enter will switch the Master Mode to AG mode if not in AG mode, and will select the next AG weapon if already in AG mode.

- Pressing Shift-KeyPad 0 will switch the Master Mode to AA mode if not in AA mode, and to Nav Mode if already in AA mode.

- Pressing Shift-KeyPad . will switch the Master Mode to AG mode if not in AG mode, and to Nav Mode if already in AG mode.

- Pressing C (Dogfight/MRM Cancel) will exit from Dogfight mode (D key) or MRM mode (M key) into the last Master Mode set.
