What we've been working on lately:

The cockpit is full 3D / 6DOF enabled, and through maximum effort it is possible to check the Skyhawk wings despite the very tight cockpit.

Pretty cool, I can see how the 6DOF is going to be a big help during inflight refueling. Visibility of the probe is pretty bad without it!

Shifting the cockpit camera around can also be assigned to key presses or other input devices as well (e.g. a joystick hat switch) for those lacking the TrackIR device.

Yeh, but I already have Tir2 so I'll know what I'm missing and that's just going to force my hand \:\)

Holy sh*t. We might actually get another flight sim in the next year or two here...

I honestly was starting to believe us simmers would never get another sim. Just iterations of Falcon mods and maybe a "sim-lite" here and there.

Hey! WTF is this!? A commercial?!?!

I must've missed this one, but was that a helicopter I saw being piloted in there? Quite a lot of potential to build on, if that's the case. Combined ops!

Yup \:\) This is a one year old presentation video that I did for local game development events I've attended. It has a couple of anims mixed with sim engine footage, the anims used to show in concept some gfx that the engine isn't able to properly do yet, but the helicopter you mention (piloted over Port Stanley) is actually a sort of "mod" we did in the engine to show the flexibility of the FM and cockpit system - yes, flyable helicopters may be coming in an expansion.

I've never anticipated the release of a sim this much before. I am looking so forward to this.
