OK Luca, heres my money and feedback...
Looks like a great concept...
In the past I used VNC on my iPaq to view FalconAF remotely. (Just for kicks).
I tried it with an iPaq 4355 running WinMobile 2003 (Client), and WinXPSP2 (Server)
program installed fine, but didnt run when linked to laptop running ActiveSync4.5 and .Net v2.0
Have over 16mb of free program memory on the device, and 1GB of storage space.
Other than the program not running first time, Id have to say your directions for installation
could be clearer (took me 2x to understand to use the iPaq explorer to install the CAB file).
I did get the client program to install and show up under the PROGRAM menus on the iPaq. Thats
when the trouble began. I couldnt get the client to run on the PDA after reboot and invoking it.
More feedback:
A start to finish startup procedure would also be helpful. Remember, the users dont have your experience with your program, so assume nothing. Like:
1. Start Computer (Server) and IPaq (Client)
2. Invoke ActiveSync (default over USB)
3. Invoke Server program
4. Invoke Client program, check for status ....
5. Invoke FalconAF
6. and so on...
Also the wireless connection via networking and bluetooth need to be step by step with pictures.
Lastly, the server program needs some explaining as to what the fields are for.
I feel like I paid to be a beta tester.
Lets hope you can get my situation debugged as soon as possible so that I can report
good news about this program. If it doesnt work, is there a refund?
