How about kharkov 42'? (Winter) 2.SS and/or LSSAH?
Have you thought about Metz? Or the 83rd infantry division in St. Malo? Pretty big fight against the 77 infantrie div.

Much info about damage model will be provided in modelers guide, which english version i've completed today and BFC should provide a link to it soon. Here is a screenshot from it showing collision shapes for Tiger tank, through these shapes unit interacts with world, receive damage, etc. These shapes must follow visible mesh closely for physical interaction to be accurate: 'Skyscrapers' inside the turret are crew members, there are two more which are inclined at the front representing sitting driver and bow MG gunner. There are separate collision objects for internal components such as ammo racks, gear box, transmission, engine, etc. All they have 'stability', can be damaged, engine may catch fire, etc. Various effects such as internal armor spalling during near penetrations are modeled as well.

Looking forward to it - it is looking great. Are they new skins? Not yet but I do plan to use new skins, off the top of my head these are the skins I want to use:- Camo smocks for SS Panzer Grenadiers. British Army skins for Sherman & M3 White HT ideally with the correct unit markings. Correct camo & unit skins for I & II SS Panzer Corps. I'd also add some new units to the wish list, mainly 17lber AT Gun & Achilles TD (M10 with 17lber). I also still have a lot of work to do on briefing maps etc.

Sure On 27th June 1944 11th Scottish Div's defensive positions were relieved at Cheux by the 43rd Wessex Div. The 43rd were a TA Div with no prior battle experience but extremely well trained by their commander Gen G I "Butcher" Thomas. 5th Btn Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry (5 DCLI) set up HQ just south of the town. Also on that day, a Kampfegruppe of I Btn of 3rd Panzer Regt 2nd "Wien" Panzer Div was transfered from Panzer Lehr in the west to the eastern side of the battle under the command of Panzermeyer's 12th SS. Most of the battalion bypassed Cheux, however no less than 6 Panthers managed to infilitrate as far as 5 DCLI's battalion HQ without a shot being fired. The Panthers promptly started to shoot the HQ to sh!t. They were engaged at close quarters with PIATs & grenades with 5 Panthers being destroyed & the 6th withdrawing heavily damaged. Thus 5 DCLI were the talk of VIII Corps, the Wessex weekend warriors had destroyed 5 enemy main battle tanks & sent another packing in close quarter battle within hours of arriving on the battlefield. Should make a good 1st mission I think
