Quick question for the OFP gurus out there...

What is the best/recommended setup for flying helos?? I was pretty sure I had my HOTAS axes setup in the OFP Controls, but I can't quite fly the choppers without resorting to the keyboard for some things (like descending from a hover)

I realize I can't expect the OFP choppers to fly like LB2, but it would be nice to be able to do everything flight related with Cyclic/Collective/AntiTorque pedals.

Currently, I have the BAS Complete Addons installed if that makes any difference.

I played a helo mission over the weekend and had a LOT of trouble controlling my altitude. I thought I had my joystick properly configured but I couldn't seem to descend without "diving".

I'll have to check my settings and try again.

Yep! That was exactly my experience! The only way I could descend in a controlled manner and land was to get into a hover and use the same key used for Going Prone to drop the altitude.

It wasn't immediately clear to me either whether my throttle as collective was:

1)Functioning AT ALL
2)Jet Style, push for power
3)Helo style, pull for power

I'm leaning toward 1)
