Just wanted to say that you lot have convinced me to give EEAH and EECH v1.9 a go seeing those really good videos. EECH2 really doesnt look a patch on the modded EECH v1.9 from what I can see so far. So Ive bought a copy of both games on Ebay and am looking forward to playing the game properly. I played Gunship and then DIs Apache and Hind to death but never got into the Enemy Engaged games for some reason so Im really looking forward to it.

I first bought EECH2 a week ago which sort of rekindled my interest in flight sims after quite a few years of non-interest so I have G2 to thank for that (but moreso Razorworks) but I will probably be selling it very soon! Although the planes and smoke etc seems to look better from the 1.9 videos certainly the gameplay is years behind the community mods.

I found this with F4 actually. I played F4 to death especially Freefalcon which I really liked in which I enjoyed flying the EF2000. But then F4 Alleid Force came out and I played that and got rid of my vastly patched Freefalcon game. But the fact is F4AF looks rubbish compared to FF3 to me and the lack of other planes really killed the game for me. I only played for a week or so and gave up. But its nice to see the developers are continuing to move F4AF gameplay on probably unlike G2.

I think I will just stop buying 'new' sims!

Have you tried FreeFalcon4? Also called Redviper/RV? Its lightyears ahead FF3 it looks Fantastic AND you get much better framerates then whit FF3

My copy of EECH2 was uninstall after about a week after release..and is at this moment being used as a base for my bedside lamp!
