Damn..........Impressive, most impressive!

BTW, is there a way to add some black soot arround the muzzle break on the 8.8cm? It just looks too clean. You have the grease stain on the barrel, (where the barrel slodes into the turret) but nothing on the business end.

I know that this sounds a little nick picky but....

The 2nd picture up from the bottom, where the Pz4 G is in the woods, the sun is casting shadows on the upper tread runner wheels but the wheels themselves are not attached to anything.

The muzzle needs to be "dirtied" up a bit...

Is there a way to add some "depth" to the top surfaces of the Tiger? Is it just me or do those cables look flat?

I know right now you just want to "bash" my head in with a shovel but these are just me asking if this could be done. Don't get me wrong, please. This is turning out to be one of the best "Tank" sims out on the market today and I would hate for me to start burning bridges today... I hope you understand.

Short-Fuse:

As with all games: There has to be a balance between eye-candy and performance. FPS is important!

Those things you mentioned are really no big deal once you see it in "action".

About the Tiger's details: The raised objects on the hull were achieved with bump-mapping. Again, a trade-off between actual 3D models (triangles) and performance.

And, I hope that the modding community will pick this up and create even better textures - because they can! \:\)

Question :

In "Red Orchestra", tanks destroyed disappear few seconds after they were hit.
It 's logic (for this gameplay) but i don t like that, wrecked tanks are possibles caches for other tanks and for battle fields operations.

In T vs T , will destroyed tanks disappear too ?

Thanks

PS : what size map will be ?

Rakk,

in TvsT, knocked out tanks stay in place for the duration of the mission.

About the map size: Quite large, I would say. ;\)

Basically they disappear (in RO) for negative impact on multiplayer servers not only by gameplay. Will be possible leave it (tank) where it was but only when map have not respawn next tank.
In the future with very, very large maps (500 miles square) and next gen hardware and SO for servers and clients will be able to see every broken tanks (7 years ??? - who knows).
