In EAW when I 'target nearest enemy' I can press another command and a 'X' will appear on the border of my monitor giving me a clue where the enemy is. Does RB have such a thing?

Also, text ID and a small box can appear under a targeted plane when in view, does RB do such a thing?

N = nearest aircraft
E or F = nearest EA or friendly (works at half range of N)

The view will slew towards the target in either internal or external slew nodes.

Hit f8 after that to see the target

Recommend you read manual or keyboard card (both avail as .pdfs) for details. The best way to use commands is map them to your input device, as someone mentioned.

Thanks LE Heureux. I knew these things but that does not get to an answer to the specific question. I guess one would have to have flow EAW, BOBI or II, or IL2 series to understand what I wrote.

RB has no such features. Best we got is E N F keys. T will padlock the biggest threat, either a particualr member of the enemies flight or the last EA to put a round in youre machine in sinlge player. Last attacker is padlocked in multi player. It actually works quite well i think.
Hope it helps oh btw sometimes RB's threat assesment can be wrong.

I know you're new to this game Uriah but if I can put a suggestion to you and that is to not start practically every thread with what EAW can do and then ask if RB has the same feature. The manual will tell you what you need to know.

Rabbits, break right and climb.
