I've been thinking about reinstalling Dangerous Waters, but I recalled feeling like I was bogged down sometimes when playing it.
I learned the basics and controlled the platforms and weapons mechanically well. I didn't use much Autocrew though, and this is where I felt things were losing ground. I would deploy my sensors for the mission, then sit and watch the scopes visually for returns. Mark them and plot, then update them. I could do this OK, get into position and often successfully attack. My missions were rather basic, of course.
But I've come to wonder if I was really going the long way around? Do other DW players avoid sitting in every chair, but rather play a commanding role over the Autocrew?
Thanks for any comments.
