Very childish, you make a reply then lock the thread so I can't respond.
Well if you ever bothered to think about someone else, then perhaps you'd realise why I was upset? I've supported this forum since it's creation. That thread took a certain amount of effort and work by myself to create and maintain.
Without even having the courtesy to tell me that you're going to unsticky it, when I was just about to update again, shows how little you think of other people.
Manners? I doubt you can spell the word. Don't bother banning me, because after 10 years of being a SimHQ member, I quit and it's down to you. There, are you happy now?
Hengist.

yes, bye, and thanks for your 10 years... I don't ban people I ignore them, and I use spell check on my post...so I'm good there too.
listen up folks, some stuff can't stayed stickied forever, when they wear out there usefulness, I unstick them, otherwise we'd have a bunch of stickies in every forum like we did, and why I cleaned them up... it's nothing personal, if it's one of your stickies...and I sure don't have the time to e-mail everyone that I unstick there post.

Uh, sticky or not, the info was welcome and deleting it makes no sense.
I was interested in a few of the sims on that list and it would have been nice for the thread to continue, sticky or not.

A wee bit of an overreaction methinks.
When does Nascar 08 come out and has anyone seen a screenshot with a cockpit view?

Just a suggestion, but since the console area is growing and more and more seem to be getting onboard why not expand the console area of the forums a bit.
Instead of the lable- Land and Armor console sims why not have an Xbox360 forum and a separate PS3 forum? The you could have an Xbox LIVE forum and whatever the PS3 online is called. This would give a place to find about new games, setup meets online, etc.
Since SimHQ caters to a more mature group of gamers than other web sites I prefer to come here and view news and updates. I value a review from a SimHQ member 100 times more than any 12 year old on XBL.com especially when it comes to tactical and driving games.
A sticky like the one removed would have been able to survive a lot longer if it was in a Xbox360 specific forum versus a general console forum where there is less room shared by more than one console.
I'm not trying to alienate PS3, but there is two much information for such a small area. They deserve to have their own space.
just my 2 cents, carry on

Lets not ruin a good thing. It we over expand too soon we might not have the resources to fully flesh out each area. What resources? It's a group of guys talking about video games for different consoles. How many forums are on SimHQ right now that are a waist of space and never used? A lot. I don't see any reason why the console area can't expand if it is actually being used. This allows room for things like Stickies on threads. I'm not questioning Magnum by any means, but a thread about release dates that gets updated as the year goes on is not a waist of space IMO. Hell I wouldn't mind sticky threads for Shooters and other types of games so I can get info on those as well. Hopefully everyone can calm down and come to a conclusion on all this.

Well just to clarify, for the last time, because now posters who have had problems with SimHQ mods and admins in the past are jumping on the bandwagon, just to get there 2 cents in... I never deleted anything folks, and as posted 11 post up, which I guess some missed in there hurry to throw there 2 cents in... the reason it was un-sticked is because it had 4 games listed, 2 had been released already, and the other 2 had unknown as the release date... it wore out it's usefulness with the release of FM2 and Dirt... not everything can be kept sticked in these forums, otherwise you get lost in the muddle...
If he would of updated it and asked to have it sticked again, I would of...instead he deleted it and "quit", whatever that means...didn't know he worked here, lol. It was a old news sticky... period... I try to keep the stickies fresh and updated, and worth something here at SimHQ... And Hengist, "shows how little you think of others here", what the heck does that mean... I'm not looking for a pat on the back, but what the heck do you think I do all this for? Me, ha, many times I have thought to drop what I do here and spend more time gaming... searching and submitting news, posting news in the forums, previews, reviews, tactical articles and other articles... you'd be surprised how much time I spend doing stuff for SimHQ. (along with a great team of other admins and editor in chief) I'll tell you this, my wife sure knows...she complains about it frequently, lol. Don't care for others... that statement is a slap in the face after what I've tried to do here for "members" of SimHQ, like yourself. Oh don't get me wrong, I do love doing it, but it does cut into my time. And will continue to do it.
